Poynting Antennas is proud to introduce you to their new XPOL-24 antenna, 4x4 MIMO, uni-directional 5G/LTE antenna.
The XPOL-24 is Poynting Antennas' first 4x4 MIMO uni-directional 5G/LTE antenna. The antenna makes use of our very popular XPOL-2-5G antenna and offers ultra-wideband coverage from 617 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 4200 MHz, with a peak gain of 11dBi across the bands of operation. The 4x4 MIMO capability adds to the exceptional performance of the antenna. The antenna elements are cross-polarized with vertical, horizontal, and ±45° polarisations with spatial separation for improved diversity and decorrelation.
The exceptional wideband performance is an important factor for 5G/LTE technologies, as these technologies rely on features such as Carrier Aggregation (CA) to provide the best possible reception and throughput over multiple frequency bands simultaneously.
The XPOL-24 adds to Poynting's current XPOL antenna range and no antenna will be discontinued.
The radiation patterns of the XPOL-24 are uni-directional and well controlled across the entire frequency range of operation. The combination of the uni-directional radiation pattern, with the high gain across the wideband coverage, enables superb coverage for FWA deployments. The measured results from the antenna are illustrated below.
